Almost Time for a New Car Seat
Brooklyn will be a one year old on July 3rd. I can't believe it! What has happened to the time. It doesn't seem right. She is walking everywhere. She refuses to crawl anymore and of course any where we go she wants to get down and walk. It is hilarious. She is truly the funniest girl I know. She is talking a lot too. She says dada, mama, baby (all the time), Hey, and baba. I love it! The older she gets the more fun we have together. I have been doing learning time with her in the morning doing development games and sign language.
We have been doing a lot of research on baby car seats and I am reading the best reviews for a britax roundabout car seat. We went and looked at one today and it seems like a really good one. Does anyone have any type of car seat that they really love or recommend? Please let me know.

This is me, but I buy the cheap $40one at Walmart. If you think about it, what is holding your baby in? The seat belt is that is attached to your car. Your kids are restrained with the harness in any car seat. In my mommy opinion, I would rather spend my money on other things than a more pricey car seat that does the same thing. Again, only my opinion.
Maybe I'm a bad mom.
Hey I need your email to invite you.
Hey there, I can't believe she is almost a year, are you having a big party? As for carseats, Zackary has a Britax Marathon in cowmooflauge. It is the best, everyone I know recommended the Britax, it is so easy to install and he loves it, so comfy... It is worth every penny. We had to put Zackary in it at 7 months, he was way too big for the other. I highly recommend the Britax, and it has the best safety ratings (if you are into all that)
We are in a sign language class right now, it is so amazing how much sign they pick up, you should look at taking a class, check out www.babysigns.com, Zackary loves the DVD's. Hope this helps, sorry it is so lengthy, I usually don't write novels on peoples blogs...
Hey Keri- It is really good to hear from you! Now we have a good way to keep in touch. Shut up Richard, you choney perv!!
We spent a lot with Carter's when he was a baby to get the 3 in 1 Eddie Bauer one because I thought it was the cutest. But then we needed an extra one for Cody's car. We got the one that is probably what Kasey is talking about. It's a Cosco one. It works just as great as the expensiveish one. Granted, we have never been in an accident with them. Carter uses the cheaper one, and Cash uses the EB one. Both turn into boosters which was more important to me so you don't spend that much each time upgrading car seats. I guess I am a cheapy mom too! I love going to the car seat checks that the fire station does. Every time I go, they have said it doesn't really matter the seat you have, but the way you install it, and how you install your kid in the seat. You could have the most expensive seat, and still injure your baby because of something you did wrong. Good luck!
Thanks for the leg compliment. Glad you two like them! :)
We are taking sign classes every Friday afternoon at one of the ladies houses in the group. We organized a class that fit our (some friends of mine) and 4-5 other moms joined in. It is really cute to see all of them, we also do many activites in the class. There are a lot of different classes you just need to find one that fits your schedule they should be posted on the that webpage. You can have one at your house or a friends if you get about 4 people to take it and you can do whatever times work for you. That is what we did. What is your email I feel bad posting such novels on your blog. Mine is mistelleallan1@gmail.com or call me 602-741-6970
What does it matter? By the time Brooklyn is 14 months, she'll have learned to unbuckle herself, strip naked, and climb to the backseat before you can count to ten.
I love this one. In fact, I love it so much I bought two...Evenflo Triumph Advance LX Convertible Car Seat-Hansen. Only complaint is that the shoulder harness doesn't lock permanently so my sly child can finagle his way out of it if he really tries. Other models don't automatically adjust though, preventing this. My sister has a Britax (I think) and has no complaints.
