Is it possible to be so in love with a child. I have to admit that I have been pretty hard to convince that motherhood would be wonderful. It never looked appealing to me. I knew someday I would have children, but never really desired it. I hope that doesn't make me seem like a horrible person. Even when I got married at 24 I waited three years to have a baby. Now I understand, sure I have my moments, but I don't think I have ever been happier. I have done many things in my life, but being able to stay at home and raise my children will be my greatest accomplishment.
Now, let's not get carried away and think I am going to just start having kids every year. I still don't desire to be a mother of many children, but I do desire to be a mother. I think Heavenly Father gives us certain desires at certain times in our lives for special reasons.

There is no other way to describe it- And it's the same with the 1st or the 4th. I just can't get enough of my kiddies.

I love this post. I love my girls and they have really taught me so much about life. Although I think 3 children is enough for me. No need to go overboard. :-)

Sometimes it's hard to think you'll have enough love for another child. But you do! I can't imagine what my life would be like without my kids. It's crazy all the time, but in a way I wouldn't change for the world.

Funny that you should post this about not being baby hungry and wanting to be a mom for a long time after being married. I was just thinking about how I have felt the same way since I've been married but now how our family feels so small with just the two of us!!
